Many Rivers to Cross

From Montego Bay to Hollywood: A Journey of Faith, Fire, and Film

There is a long and winding road between the sun-soaked hills of Montego Bay, Jamaica and the bright lights of Hollywood, California. I have walked every mile of it with faith, purpose, and an unshakable belief in the power of storytelling.

I was born and raised in Saint James Parish, where the ocean greets the sun each morning and community is the heartbeat of daily life. Jamaica gave me rhythm before I ever read a script. It gifted me voice, presence, and a deep well of resilience. Whether I was watching street dances, local plays, or simply observing everyday life, I quickly learned that everyone is performing in their own way.

Finding My Voice in a New World

When I moved to the United States, I brought Jamaica with me. I brought values like faith, family, and fire. I found opportunity. I found rooms that pushed me to grow. I met teachers, mentors, and friends who challenged me to show up prepared.

Acting evolved from a dream into a discipline.

I studied. I trained. I embraced characters whose lives looked nothing like mine yet felt entirely familiar. Every audition, every short film, every role taught me to lead with truth.

Acting Is Activism

As I deepened my craft, I found a mission that stretched beyond the screen. I founded La Familia Movements to pour into youth and disadvantaged communities, because I know the power of being seen and believed in. That belief fuels every character I embody whether I am portraying a teacher, a fighter, a father, or a man pushed to his limits.

When I stand in front of a camera, I bring with me every young Jamaican who was ever told to “stay inna yuh lane.”

I carry the weight of poverty and the light of possibility. I carry the strength of mentorship, the warmth of my community, and the courage it takes to break generational barriers.

Hollywood Is the Final Chapter

Now based in Los Angeles, my focus is clear. I am building a career defined not just by roles, but by impact. I want to act, create, and produce stories that matter. Stories that reflect what is raw, what is real, and what is resilient.

The journey from Montego Bay to Hollywood has not been easy. But I carry my roots with pride. My background keeps me grounded when doors open.

To those watching, supporting, or walking beside me, thank you. The journey is far from over. In many ways, we are only getting started.
